NCIAVHR Launches Online Application and Calls on Citizens to Report Violations

The National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) renewed its call today for all Yemeni citizens to report violations they face through its new online application, currently available for Android devices.
The Commission launched its electronic application named (NCIAVHR), now available for download on the Google Play Store, and will soon be available on the Apple Store for iPhone devices.
The application facilitates easy access to the Commission’s electronic services, streamlines mechanisms for victims’ initial reporting, and ensures the Commission promptly receives and handles complaints.
At the same time, the Commission emphasized its continued acceptance of reports and complaints on its official website and dedicated email for reports, as well as its main office in the intreim capital Aden, and its branches in the Taiz and Marib governorates.
Civil society organizations working in the field of human rights protection were also urged to educate victims and informants about the necessity of reporting violations and to familiarize them with available and designated reporting channels.
The Commission noted that launching this service for citizens aims to expand reporting channels for victims from all Yemeni governorates, regardless of the perpetrators.
The Commission works on monitoring, documenting, and investigating all violations it receives according to investigation standards applied by similar international, national, and regional committees, ensuring justice for victims and holding perpetrators accountable.
