NCIAVHR Meets with Ambassador Mujawar

Today, the Chairman and members of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) met with Dr. Mujawar, Yemen’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the European headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva.

The meeting addressed the activities, events, and discussions held by the Commission in Geneva on the sidelines of the 57th session of the Human Rights Council, as well as the anticipated outcomes.

Judge Ahmed Al-Maflahi, Chairman of the Commission, expressed his appreciation for the role of Yemen’s Embassy at the Human Rights Council in supporting the state’s efforts to establish the rule of law and institutions.

Ambassador Mujawar, in turn, commended the significant roles played by the Commission and its continuous efforts both domestically and internationally to bring justice to victims and achieve the justice that Yemenis seek.
