NCIAVHR Meets the Leadership of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance

On Sunday, the team of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) met with the leadership of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance in the Al-Mocha district as part of its field visit to the coastal districts.

During the meeting, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali, Vice-Chairman of the Commission, introduced the role played by the field researchers of the Commission in reaching the victims and collecting information and touched on the Commission’s standing on the reality of the human rights scene in the district on an ongoing basis.

In turn, the Secretary-General of the Political Bureau, PM Abdul Wahhab Al-Amer, expressed his welcome to the Commission’s visit to the West Coast districts, stressing their interest to facilitate the work of the Commission teams and researchers in all regions to ensure justice for the victims and redress for their harm.

The meeting was attended by the heads of departments in the General Secretariat of the Political Bureau, Dr. Adel Al-Masoudi, Head of Organizations Affairs and the Legal Department, Fathia Al-Maamari, Head of the Organizations and Humanitarian Affairs Department, and Mohammed Anam, Head of the Information Department.
