NCIAVHR Meets with JIAT in Aden

The National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) met with the Joint Incidents Assessment Team (JIAT) in the intriem capital, Aden.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali, provided clarification on the nature of the new incidents being investigated by the Team and the areas in which they occurred, as part of the cooperation and coordination between both sides.

The Team also discussed their current visit to Yemen, the incidents they are investigating, the field sites of the targeted areas, and the findings of previous investigations conducted in various Yemeni regions.

The Team expressed appreciation for the Commission for facilitating and coordinating access to all targeted victims.

During their visit to Yemen, the Team visited several field sites that were affected by recent airstrikes and also met with victims and eyewitnesses.
