NCIAVHR Chairperson and Members Meet Arab Group Ambassadors in Geneva

The chairperson and members of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights (“NCIAVHR”) met with ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions in the Arab Group at the Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The meeting addressed human rights developments in Yemen, the impact of the implementation of the truce on violations against civilians, and the Commission’s field investigations into the violations committed by all parties in all Yemeni governorates.

The ambassadors of the Arab Group renewed their continued support for the efforts of the National Commission as a national mechanism to monitor and investigate allegations of human rights violations in Yemen.

This meeting was held among the activities and meetings conducted by the National Commission on the sidelines of the 51st sessions of the Human Rights Council.
