NCIAVHR Hears Live Testimonies on Human Rights Violations in Marib

The National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR)heard live testimonies by victims who have been subjected to various forms of human rights violations due to the armed conflict in Yemen, today, at its office in Marib governorate.
Dr. Mohammed Talyan, a member of the Commission, explained that the session is part of the investigation mechanisms applied by the Commission, with the aim of listening to the voices of victims and witnesses, understanding the reality of the violations they experienced, and the physical, mental, and psychological effects they suffered as a result of the violations, and strengthening the investigation evidence through diverse live testimonies.
During the hearing, victims who have suffered serious violations during the year 2023 presented testimonies about their severe suffering that led to violations of their rights to physical and mental safety, dignity, and work, torture, fear, loss of security, lack of access to medicine and food, and deprivation of their livelihoods.
