NCIAVHR Meets with Security Belt Forces Commander in Aden

Today, Judge Ahmed Al-Maflahi, Chairman of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR), along with Commission members Judges Sabah Alwan, Nasser Al-Oudhli, and Jihad Abdul Rasoul, met with Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rubaie, the Commander of the Security Belt Forces in Aden Governorate.

During the meeting, the Commission discussed several key issues currently under investigation. Additionally, the Commission’s team visited the detention center managed by the Security Belt Forces, where they inspected the facilities and assessed the conditions of the detainees. They listened to the detainees’ concerns, which included requests for improved food services, adequate space, and additional wards to accommodate the increasing number of detainees.

The Security Belt Forces Commander expressed appreciation for the National Commission’s visit to evaluate detainee conditions and understand the needs of the detention center. He also highlighted the important role of the Security Belt Forces in Aden Governorate.
