NCIAVHR Reviews with the Arab Group Ambassadors in Geneva the Field lnvestigation Progress and Findings

The Chairman and members of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) reviewed today, Wednesday, with ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions in the Arab Group at the Human Rights Council in Geneva, the works and findings of the field investigation.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the sessions of the 51st session of the Human Rights Council, the Chairman of the Commission, Judge Ahmed Al-Muflehi, presented an explanation about the Commission’s eleventh periodic report, its findings, major challenges and difficulties, and the recommendations made in the report to all parties to the conflict.
Judge Al-Muflehi also discussed the developments in human rights in Yemen and the field investigation conducted by the Commission into violations committed by all parties in all Yemeni governorates.
The Arab ambassadors and diplomats expressed their great appreciation for the role played by the Commission under the current circumstances in the country and its importance in documenting the rights of victims to ensure justice in the future.
They also reiterated their continuous support for the efforts of the investigative Commission as the national mechanism for monitoring and investigating all claims of human rights violations committed on the Yemeni territory.
