NCIAVHR Holds Regular Meeting with Field Monitors

The National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations of Human Rights (NCIAVHR) opened a new regular meeting with its field monitors today, Sunday, in Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
The five-day meeting, held from October 27 to 31, brings together 39 field monitors from across the governorates of the republic and is led by Commission members Judge Nasser Al-Awadhi, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali, and Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari.
In the opening session, Commission Chairman Judge Ahmed Al-Maflahi welcomed all participating monitors, commending their field efforts in monitoring and documenting all violations committed across Yemeni territories in line with the highest international standards.
The meeting addresses current violations listed under international humanitarian law and international human rights law. It involves reviewing and clarifying these violations, finalizing the names and descriptions of each agreed-upon violation, and including practical applications of the material covered.
